Описание

Большинство основной логики работы Wonderware MES решений базируется на понятиях work order (производственный заказ) и job (производственное задание). Поэтому, область применения Wonderware MES – дискретные и дискретно-непрерывные производства, которые можно описать в системе с использованием понятий «производственный заказ» и «производственное задание».

Вопросы лицензирования

Порядок заказа:

  • Step 1: Choose the MES Software capability license(s) for Operations, Performance and Quality based on the individual number of equipment for each.
  • Step 2: Purchase additional MES Software Middleware instances for load balancing in case more licenses than included are required
  • Step 3: Choose a Supply Chain Connector and/or Enterprise Integrator license as options
  • Step 3: Choose number and type of MES Clients (per device/named user or concurrent) or order InTouch for System Platform
  • Step 4: Purchase a Wonderware System Platform, DEV Studio or ADV DEV Studio License when not already in place. (only ADV DEV Studio provides an MES License for offline Development/Testing of MES Software)

  • "The Wonderware MES Client license entitles the use of the Operator-, Supervisor-, Configurator- and 'MES Client' application, the Wonderware MES Web portal, MES Client controls or MES Software API.
  • The 'MES Client' license also entitles the installation and use of Wonderware MES API calls or .NET controls in InTouch run-time stand-alone instances (with respect to System Platform) or 3rd party applications (like custom ArchestrA Client toolkit- or Visual Studio based client applications).
  • The ‘MES Client’ license is NOT required when using the Wonderware MES web portal, .NET controls or API calls on a node with either 'InTouch for System Platform', InTouch for System Platform Read-only' or 'InTouch Run-time' PLUS an 'Application Server Platform'.
  • The Per Device/named User license allows an MES Client to operate on a specific device or by a specific user.
  • The 'MES Client', Per Device/Named User' licenses includes a WW CAL without MS CAL.
  • A Concurrent license allows one concurrent User to operate one MES Client at a given time. The 'MES Client, Concurrent' license requires to additional purchase WW Core without MS Core according to the number of cores of the database server or a WW CAL without MS CAL for each User which will make use of concurrent licenses.
  • Note: MES Clients are not available in every region. Any sales in North American will require prior approval from Wonderware Management and an SPR."

Как узнать сколько оборудования используется

  • MES Operations:
   Look at the ArchestrA.lic license file by locating the Feature 'MES_Operations_Count'. The ‘Vendor_String’ value is the no:of entities that can be enabled for Operations.
   Check your actual in-use Entity count in your Database running this SQL statement:  select count(*) from ent where can_sched_jobs = 1 or can_run_jobs = 1
  • MES Performance:
   Look at the ArchestrA.lic license file by locating the Feature ‘MES_Utilization_Count’. The ‘Vendor_String’ value is the no:of entities that can be enabled for capturing utilization/OEE.
   Check your actual in-use Entity count in your Database running this SQL statement:  select count(*) from ent where can_capture_util = 1
  • MES Quality:
   Look at the ArchestrA.lic license file by locating the Feature 'MES_Quality_Count'. The ‘Vendor_String’ value is the no:of entities that can be enabled for Quality.
   Check your actual in-use Entity count in your database running this SQL statement:  select count(*) from ent where can_capture_qm_data = 1

If your database count is equal or higher than the license count, Entity Model Builder will fail to create the entity.

ПРОБЛЕМЫ

При старте MES Client выдает сообщение: No more licenses of this type allowed

Решение

Установить корректные лицензии и перезапустить MES Middleware

УСТАНОВКА

Установка MES2014 SP1

Перед установкой SP1 не требуется ставить MES 2014, т.е. MES2014 SP1 содержит полный дистрибутив, включая основную версию

Основная последовательность установки при условии установки ВСЕ НА ОДНОМ ПК

  1. Установить IIS
  2. Установить SQL server
  3. Установить Wonderware System Platform
  4. Установить MES компоненты

Конфигурирование ArchestrA Reporting Services

  1. Поднять ArchestrA Reports
  2. Запустить конфигуратор
C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware\MES\Reporting Services\MESReportsConfig.exe
    • Настроить соединение
    • Выполнить Deploy

Установка MES 2017

  • с версии MES 2014 R3 (5.3) Wonderware MES больше не использует ArchestrA User Account (ArchestrA Network Account). Вместо этого во время установки создается служебный аккаунт - WCFHostService для служб MES Middleware

Основная последовательность установки при условии установки ВСЕ НА ОДНОМ ПК

  1. Установить Установка IIS (требуется для ролей MES Web Portal, Report Server. TN403
  2. Установить SQL server включая роль MS SQL Reporting Services
    • Reporting Services (по умолчанию) для MES Reports
      • Настроить: создать сайт и БД
      • Проверить открытие сайтов ..Reports.. и ..ReportServer ..
      • Добавить сайт ..Reports.. в доверенные для браузера (не должно показываться сообщение что заблокированы скрипты)
    • Data Quality Client
    • Client Tools Connectivity
  3. Установить Wonderware System Platform
  4. Установить MES компоненты

Обновление версии МЕС до версии MES 2014SP1

  1. Удалить старую версию
  2. Поставить новую
  3. Мигрировать БД MESDB можно с версии 3.1 и старше (если меньше 3.1 – то сначала мигрировать в 3.1)
  4. Можно сохранить и перенести файл – middleware.cfg C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware\MES\Middleware
    • Переустановка пересоздаст этот файл, но потом его можно опять перезаписать из ранее сохраненной руками копии
    • После перезаписи – перезагрузить Middleware Host
